It was a brisk month for residential sales in July across the Central Okanagan.
The Mainline Real Estate Board says the average selling price was $713 thousand dollars, a drop of $69 thousand dollars from last year.
It took 61 days to sell a home in July, 17 days longer than a year ago.
The average price for a townhome remained strong, dropping just a thousand dollars year-to-year for an average of $517 thousand dollars.
Overall, 230 homes were sold in the Central Okanagan last month, a 15% increase from July 2018.
