A 48-year-old Kelowna man is facing potential criminal charges after he was arrested while driving impaired last week.
Shortly before 9 AM on Friday, a traffic control officer noticed an unlicensed Dodge Durango driving in the area of Watson Road and Yates Road.
After performing a traffic stop, the officer discovered that the driver was not only impaired, but had a driving suspension.
“The driver, who was unable to complete standardized field sobriety testing roadside, was detained for impaired driving,” says RCMP Corporal Jesse O’Donaghey.
He has since been released from police custody, and has been given another driving ban.
He is expected to appear in court on October 11th, 2018.
