The investigation continues into the sinking of a tug boat near the Tolko Mill that claimed the life of a long-time Tolko employee.
Mohan Raman, Manager of Operations Pacific Region with the Transportation Safety Board, says investigators have examined the tug boat and have interviewed a second crew, that has operated the boat, and several Tolko managers.
Raman says investigators will meet next week to go through the evidence gathered, and if they decide to proceed with a full investigation, it'll take at least a year before a report is released.
BC Coroner Barb McLintock says her office also has no new details, other than the investigation is on-going.
"This is being investigated by our coroner, and our resource coroner, who works on a lot of the files which have to do with forest companies, have taken over responsibility for it," she says.
The boat sank off the shores of Manhattan Point on January 30th, killing the boat's operator Ivor Lundin.
Lundin was an experienced operator who had worked at Tolko for close to 25 years.
WorkSafeBC and the RCMP are also involved in the investigation.
