No details yet on what may have caused a deadly fire in downtown Kelowna, but a source to AM 1150 News says the cause was gang-activity.
The blaze happened Saturday morning in a home on Stockwell Avenue where firefighters later discovered a body.
Kelowna RCMP, the Kelowna Fire Department and BC Coroners Service continue to investigate.
RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says the individual's death and the circumstances surrounding the fire are still considered suspicious.
O'Donaghey says the person's name, age or gender won't be released until family members are properly notified.
