There are no lack of good paying jobs in the Kelowna area, specifically in the construction industry.
Look no further than SK Form and Finish, which recently won a high profile contract to work on a massive LNG construction site in Kitamat.
Owner Steve Kraushar says they are also looking for good men and women to join their workforce.
"We are constantly hiring. I just did seven orientations for new staff members that are joining our team. Some will be going up to the Kitamat site while some will be staying here".
A local company for 27 years, SK Form and Finish now employees 73 people.
"We are always looking for concrete finishers, especially guys or girls who have done a little bit of it or dabbled in it or want to get into the trade. We offer the apprentice program here at SK, so we have apprentice programs for both the cement mason, concrete finisher which is another word for that, or for the carpentry," Kraushar added.
SK Form and Finish has an executive chief on staff who serves a hot breakfast for its employees every morning - starting bright and early at 5 am.
