A man from Kamloops will serve two years in prison after pleading guilty to robbing a CIBC bank in Kelowna last April.
Last April 11, 27-year-old Cathan Hall walked into the bank at KLO and Richter at about 9:45 am, and handed a note to the teller demanding money.
After leaving with $1000 dollars and a dye pack that exploded, he was arrested outside the Kelowna detachment later that afternoon.
After being released on bail, Hall was arrested again in Kamloops last September, and has been in jail ever since.
Hall was given a sentence of two years less one day, along with a three year probation, a 10-year ban on owning guns, and an order to pay back the money he stole.
