A popular attraction right beside City Hall in Kelowna will have to wait a bit longer to re-open this spring.
The Kasugai Garden Park normally opens in March, but with the ongoing accumulation of ice and snow in the park, City officials have deemed the park's pathways unsafe at this point.
The Park was opened in 1987 as a tribute to Kelowna's sister-city relationship to Kasugai, Japan.
While open, visitors are able to enjoy the park's koi ponds, stone walkways, and greenery until it closes for the season in October.
