There's the chance of significant rainfall beginning Thursday - and Central Okanagan emergency response officials are warning residents, who been affected by flooding, to keep sandbag dikes in place.
Sand and sandbags are available at various sites in Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country.
In Kelowna, sandbags are available at the fire station on Enterprise Way - and sand is available at the Cook Road Boat Launch - on Burne Avenue west of Ethel Street at Mill Creek, and on Rowcliffe Avenue at Richter Street.
In West Kelowna, sand is available on Green Bay Road, Casa Loma, Pritchard Drive, Hitchner Road and in Pebbles Park.
And in Lake Country residents can get sand and sandbags at Swalwell Park, and sand is available on Commonwealth Road by Holiday Park.
Environment Canada is forecasting thunderstorms for Thursday, with total rainfall amounts of 30 mms possible by Saturday.
