Kelowna RCMP are looking for a bank robber on the run.
Just before 10AM, Police were called to a Scotiabank on Highway 33 west where an unknown man entered the building and produced a note demanding cash.
He also claimed to have a gun but never revealed it. He fled the bank on foot with an unspecified about of money.
Police conducted a ground search in the area that included the temporary closure of a local elementary school but did not find the man.
Now police are asking the public for help tracking him down.
He's described as a 5-foot-7 caucasian man in his 50's with glasses and a grey beard.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call Kelowna RCMP or Crimestoppers.
