The Kelowna Community Theatre on Water Street is the latest victim to the rising water level along Okanagan Lake.
The 49 year-old building has flooding in the basement.
City spokesperson Tom Wilson says without a pump, the ground water in the basement would be significant.
"The high water table in the area has caused water to pool in the there and we have pumps from allowing it to get too high. We have the water flowing back onto the street".
Wilson says valuables from the basement have been moved to higher ground as the pumps work hard to protect mechanical equipment below.
