The Kelowna Daily Courier and the Penticton Herald will make a major change to their service next month.
James Miller, Editor and Director of Content for the Okanagan Valley, says "we've changed our business model in order to remain competitive in today's rapidly changing media industry, so as of Monday, May 27th - which is the Monday after Victoria Day - we will no longer publish a print edition on Mondays, but our print service will continue Tuesdays through Saturdays - hopefully stronger than ever as we'll be focusing on five days instead of six."
Miller told AM 1150's Early Edition that the Kelowna Daily Courier and the Penticton Herald will be focusing more attention on their websites and other products.
