A busy night for Kelowna firefighters who had to deal with two incidents Thursday night.
The first - a kitchen fire in the 1500 block of Kelglen Crescent at around 6:15 pm.
A resident trying to put out the fire was removed from the home and treated for minor smoke inhalation.
Most of the damage to the home was minor.
Then just after 10:00 pm, smoke was seen coming from the attic of a home on Temple Court.
Faulty wiring is believed to have started the blaze.
Two residents were displaced by the fire, but were not injured.
