The Kelowna Fire Department called for the assistance of the RCMP, after their crews extinguished a grass fire along Enterprise Way close to the Leathead Road intersection.
Fire officials told police that the fire was easily extinguished, after being quickly spotted by passerby's.
Investigators believe that the fire was in fact human caused, and are treating it suspicious in nature.
