The Royal Canadian Legion, Kelowna branch, raised a record amount of money with their annual poppy campaign.
Volunteers took in over $184,209 - breaking the record set three years ago of $176,000.
A meeting will be held later this week to decide how to divide up the money.
In past years, the Legion has used the money to help veterans directly, to provide scholarships to their children and grandchildren - and fund organizations like the Kelowna General Hospital and BC Cancer Foundations.
