A Kelowna man is dead after falling to his death at Glacier National Park over the weekend.
Golden-Field RCMP say the 30-year-old had been hiking near Mount Sir Donald with two men and a woman on Saturday, when he lost his footing and fell off a steep cliff.
The people he was with activated an emergency spot beacon and Parks Canada Mountain Safety helicoptered them back to Rogers Pass.
The man's body wasn't recovered until the next day due to unsafe conditions.
His identity has not been released.
