A Kelowna man is planning to retire early after winning a jackpot in the Daily Grand Draw last month.
Robert Pearce bought his winning ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore in Westbank on September 20th.
He had the option to choose $25-thousand dollars a year for life - or a lump sum of $500-thousand - and took the 500-grand.
Pearce plans get a new truck and camper, and spend more time hunting and fishing - and also said he's really excited about living stress free.
That same day - George Kesson from Vancouver also won the Daily Grand Bonus Draw.
