The Kelowna RCMP are currently investigating a hit and run where the victim is still recovering in the hospital.
On February 18, 2019, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a woman that was brought to the Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance the night previous, after being found severely injured. Through the course of the investigation, it’s believed that the woman was hit by a vehicle and landed unconscious in a ditch near the corner of Ethel and Street and Lawson Avenue. This woman suffered several broken bones and other injuries and remains in hospital recovering.
The vehicle that struck this woman will have damage and it should be quite evident that this vehicle came into contact with an object or a person.
