Kelowna RCMP are trying to track down a potential credit card fraudster.
After a wallet was reported stolen last week, police say fraudulent charges started showing up on the missing credit and debit cards.
A woman was then caught on camera tapping one of the cards at a convenience store.
“Our complainant was able to determine that following the theft, as many as three fraudulent transactions were made using the tap feature of both credit and debit cards which were contained inside the wallet,” said Corporal Jesse O’Donaghey. “Investigators have obtained images of a woman they believe may have been involved in at least one of those transactions.”
Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call Kelowna RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
