Environment Canada Meteorologist Matt McDonald says a band of flurries moved through the area, Monday morning, bringing 1 or 2 cms to the valley with 4 to 5 cms on the Okanagan Connector.
He says the next disturbance is moving in overnight, and we could see about 2 to 4 cms Tuesday.
The temperature will be right around the freezing mark, so it should be wet snow in the valley Tuesday morning - but the Connector could get 5 to 8 cms.
MacDonald says on Wednesday the high will reach plus 4, so down in the valley bottom we'll see rain mixed with snow, but up on the ski hills, they should be very happy with anywhere from 15 to 20 cms the rest of the week.
Will there be a white Christmas for Kelowna? MacDonald says it's too early to say, but it's looking pretty unsettled and coolish, and we'll just have and see how the middle of December plays out.
