Kelowna's 45th Annual Civic and Community Awards will be virtual this year.
Mariko Siggers, the city's Community and Neighbourhood Services Manager, says it wasn't an easy decision.
"We just spent some time thinking about should we postpone until the fall, but given that we don't know what the fall will hold still we figured this was a great opportunity for us to take our awards night virtual."
Finalists and winners will be able to watch from the comfort of their home starting at 6:30PM on July 2nd.
The event was supposed to be held on April 29th.
Siggers says they didn't want to miss out on recognizing the contributions from residents and businesses.
Tune into the awards here.
