Rivers, streams and creeks are set to rise significantly this week, so the BC River Forecast Centre has issued a high streamflow advisory.
Forecaster say warmer temperatures and rain this week is going to cause the mid-elevation snow pack to melt quicky sending that water down swelling rivers and creeeks.
The high water advisory has been issued for the entire province and includes Kelowna's Mission Creek.
It also extends to streams and rivers around Penticton, Vernon, Kamloops, and Salmon Arm.
High stream flows are expected from Thursday to Sunday.
