Changes are coming to Tolko's Kelowna mill.
A fibre shortage has forced the closure of its Quesnel sawmill and a shift reduction at its Kelowna operation.
Workers will see a drop from two shifts to one starting July 12th.
It will impact 90 employees.
Tolko's CEO said in a press release that it was a 'difficult decision'.
Tolko has owned the Kelowna mill since taking it over from Riverside Forest Products in 2004.
