This Thursday, the Kelowna Salvation Army will be kicking off its annual Christmas Kettle Campaign.
It takes place from November 15th to December 24th, with volunteers stationed outside businesses throughout the Central Okanagan
During last year’s campaign, the Salvation Army was able to help nearly 600 families and provide toys to over 1,100 children thanks to fundraising efforts.
A campaign kick-off celebration will take place on Thursday at the Salvation Army Community Life Centre on Rutland Road South at 9 AM.
5,000 volunteer hours will need to be filled. Anyone interested in helping out is asked to visit kelownasalvationarmy.ca.
