30yearold chased man with weapon early Thursday

A 30-year-old man spent the night in jail after he was arrested for chasing another man with a knife.

The incident happened just before 12:30 Thursday morning, on Highway 33 between Dougall and Rutland Road.

A Kelowna man in his 20's called police after the suspect threatened him with the knife and chased after him.

After police got a description, they found the man nearby, where he was drunk and also carrying two knives.

Fortunately, nobody was injured as a result.

RCMP are asking anyone who might have witnessed anything to tell them what they saw.
