The 62nd annual Knox Mountain Hill Climb kicked off today and continues tomorrow in Kelowna.
The event tests cars and drivers on a paved road course of ten major turns, climbing 800 vertical feet over 3.5 kilometres.
Access to Knox Mountain Park will be limited to ticket holders only during the weekend, and the off-leash dog park, tennis courts and disc golf areas will be closed until Monday.
Knox Mountain Drive and the base parking lot will be fully closed until Tuesday morning.
Public access to the park and dog park will be limited on Monday to safely accommodate the tear-down of the event.
Public access to Paul’s Tomb will be available through Poplar Point Drive.
