Update (8:15 pm):
Kelowna fire crews quickly responded to a grass fire on Knox Mountain Friday afternoon.
The call came in just before 4:20, and sent 25 firefighters to the scene, where they found a fire burning roughly 22,000 square feet, that was starting to burn up into the trees.
Along with the firefighters on the ground, provincial forestry crews sent in three helicopters to drop water.
The fire was fully contained less than an hour after arrival.
A cause of the fire has yet to be confirmed, though RCMP are involved in the investigation.
