The RCMP says it doesn't plan to lay charges in connection with a small wildfire in Lake Country on Saturday.
Police say they believe the fire was human caused, but that it wasn't deliberately set, which means they won't be pursuing a criminal arson case.
The fire started outside a shed on a private property, just off of Highway 97 near Lodge Road on Saturday afternoon at about 5:30, which forced the brief closure of the highway.
Some homes in the area were immediately evacuated, though firefighters were able to knock down the fire before it could destroy any homes, or injure any people.
