The Emergency Operation Centre says it's picking up the very last of the sandbags that were reported by property owners in the Central Okanagan.
It says anyone who didn't organize a pick-up by the start of last week is now on their own for getting rid of them, and that they can be taken to the Glenmore landfill, as sandbag drop-off locations have since shut down.
As they've said previously, no sand should be dumped into any lakes, streams, or bodies of water.
As well, debris removal in the lake is ongoing, with four barge crews currently out on the lake.
Anyone who has any debris that they don't want to be taken out of the water, like a partial dock that can be rebuilt, should clearly mark it off with signage and bright tape or paint.
The flood recovery line is at 250-470-0674 - it'll be staffed from 8 to 4 until next Friday, the 25th.
