Kelowna-Lake Country Liberal candidate Norm Letnick, and Kelowna-Mission's Steve Thomson, teamed-up today to outline the party's infrastructure commitments.
In a news release, the pair promised to see through to completion several projects already underway including the six-laning of Highway 97 through Kelowna and extending John Hindle Drive from Glenmore Road to the University of BC Okanagan at Highway 97.
They also promised to fix the bottleneck at Beaver Lake Road in Lake Country - extend Clement Avenue from Glenmore Road to Highway 33 in Kelowna, and complete improvements to Westside Road.
They say the government has already invested almost $20 billion in transportation infrastructure across BC - and have set aside an additional $3.2 billion, over the next three years, with much of that spending in the Okanagan and southern interior.
