Kelowna RCMP were involved in a wild arrest Thursday morning.
It happened after police caught wind that a man wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant was in a home on Gerstmar Road.
After the police got there just before 9 am, the man bolted out of the house next door, and led officers on a foot chase over several blocks, and through a construction site, before jumping into an empty truck.
As the suspect turned onto Hein Road, he crashed into an umarked police cruiser, and flipped the truck onto its roof.
After getting him out of the wrecked truck, the man was arrested.
Police say he has a court date to address the warrant, and will likely see further charges after the morning chase.
