A 57 year-old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a West Kelowna woman back in 2015.
Kevin Constin was taken in custody for the alleged murder of Hazel Budiongan.
The 37 year-old was found dead inside her home on Boucherie Road, which was set on fire when emergency crews arrived.
Constable Jesse O'Donaghey says an 18 month investigation culminated with second degree charges being laid.
"Throughout the course of this investigation, our officers remained committed to find who was responsible for Hazel's death. By finding who was responsible we are hopeful of providing a sense of closure for Hazel's loved ones and answers to the community that was affected by this terrible tragedy,"
O'Donaghey says Constin was Budiongan's husband at the time of her death.
