Police are looking for a man accused of mugging a pedestrian on Spall Road late Sunday night.
Right around 10 pm, the victim was walking down Spall Road, near Kent Road north of Springfield.
That man was injured when another came up and attacked him, and also stole some cash from the backpack he was wearing.
Officers quickly set up a perimeter and called in the police dog unit, but weren't able to track him down.
At this point, investigators say they have reason to believe this was not a random attack, but also aren't confirming if they've identified the suspect, or what the relationship was between the two.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, who's about 5 foot 8 and 170 pounds with light brown hair and a beard.
He was reportedly wearing a hat, black gloves, and white shoes, with a brown hoodie and jeans.
The victim was taken to hospital to get treatment for minor injuries.
