A massage therapist in Penticton has lost his license and has been fined over 13 thousand dollars for inappropriate conduct with patients. Between 2010 and 2016 Jesse Brown engaged in personal and sexually suggestive conversations with female patients.
Brown also admitted to drinking alcohol with a patient in the treatment room, disclosing private information about patients, and he engaged in a relationship with a Patient, including sexual relations in the treatment room.
The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia also ruled that Brown had tried to falsify text messages from one of the Patients to mislead investigators.
Brown is re-eligible to apply for a license in 2047. At that time he would have to satisfy the CMTBC’s Registration Committee, that he is of good character and fit to practice massage therapy.
