Former Kelowna RCMP Superintendent Bill McKinnon will present his findings and recommendations to improve public safety in a report to City Council on Monday.
McKinnon was hired in June to work with senior levels of government, social service agencies, and community groups to find ways to ensure the public feels safe on the streets.
Recommendations will look at all aspects of the issue - from various types of enforcement and health services - to how homelessness contributes to growing problems around public safety and cleanliness.
In the past few months - McKinnon met with more than 60 individuals and organizations.
