Mission Group's U-District condo project will expand this year.
After selling out the first five phases, U-Six will hit the market next month, and be ready for occupancy in 2019.
The latest expansion will add 57 condos just off of campus, with studio, two, and three bedroom units.
The condos are marketed towards parents and families of university students, who can purchase valuable housing for their scholar.
In its announcement, Mission Group also talks about the possibility of earning added revenue, by renting out any leftover bedrooms.
Over 9000 students attend UBCO, with only 1600 beds on campus, and another 1600 in the immediate U-District.
The developer cites Kelowna's miniscule 0.2% vacancy rate as an illustration of the demand for housing, along with a 6% increase in condo sales last year.
