BC Transit buses in Kelowna will stop and observe a moment of silence again today for Cesar Rosales - the man who was killed while riding a bus three years ago
Amalgamated Transit Union President Scott Lovell says "we've asked everyone at 12 o'clock noon today to take a minute of silence, not only for Cesar, but for other issues that have happened around our country."
55-year-old Rosales was stabbed to death on a bus by Tyler Jack Newton on October 30th, 2014.
Newton pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
