Kelowna doesn't seem to be done getting rain; there's a chance of showers bringing 5-10 millimeters of rain on Tuesday afternoon.
Afterwards, we may be getting a break from rain, according to Environment Canada meteorologist Cindy Yu, who says Tuesday night to Thursday looks to be fairly dry.
The highways, however, are a different story, according to Yu:
"Snow level will be around 1,000 meters," says Yu. "So if you're travelling on the highways, expect some snow on the Connector."
A Monday travel warning of 10-15 centimeters of snow for the Connector and the Coquihalla has ended, because the forecast has reduced it to 5-10 centimeters of snow.
As far as spring goes, warmer weather still seems to be just out of reach.
"We are still kind of in this cooler-than-normal weather pattern," says Yu. "We're really not expecting a whole lot of change, but perhaps we could be seeing some warmer temperatures and warmer weather patterns towards the end of April or beginning of May."
