Police in West Kelowna are happy with local drivers after a two-day school bus enforcement blitz.
On Monday and Tuesday this week, officers joined students on school buses to take a look at some of the other drivers, specifically looking for ones who didn't stop for the bus.
The rules of the road state that drivers need to come to a complete stop if they see red lights flashing and stop signs extended on the bus, to allow students to safely get on and off.
Fortunately, police say that in these two days, they didn't see any drivers breaking those rules.
Had there been people ripping past the bus, they would have been eligible for a 167 dollar fine.
