One of Kelowna's most shocking murder cases in recent memory will finally have a trial date set.
34-year-old Jacob Daniel Forman, charged with the murders of his wife Clara and daughters Karina and Yesenia, will appear in court again on Monday, December 10th to have the date decided.
At that time, it will have been nearly a year since his arrest, which came after the three bodies were discovered inside a Rutland home.
He's been in custody ever since, and this past June, chose to switch lawyers. His current lawyer, Ray Dieno from Victoria, has requested additional time over the past few months to go over the evidence from the case.
Forman has not yet entered a plea to his two charges of first degree murder, or his one charge of second degree murder.
