There was a ribbon cutting yesterday for the New Child Advocacy Centre in Kelowna.
It'll be developed on the second floor of a building on Kirschner Road.
The construction cost will be about 3 million dollars. A fund raising campaign continues, to not only pay for the facility, but also money to run the facility on going.
When completed, the Advocacy Centre will coordinate police, social services and health care professionals to help children who have been emotionally, physically or sexually abused.
