Terry McFaul has huge shoes to fill, and as the new head scout of the Kelowna Rockets he knows it.
The Calgary resident replaces Lorne Frey, who stepped aside earlier this week after 29 years at the helm.
"He's a legend in his own time, probably the best there was and ever will be," McFaul said. "I've been fortunate enough to work with him for a number of years and travel with him quite a bit, and was taught by the very best. He's the most respected guy in the league. When Lorne speaks everybody listens."
McFaul is no stranger to the Rockets organization. He's been a member of the scouting staff since the team came into the WHL as an expansion franchise in Tacoma in 1991.
