NewLeaf Travel is no more- it's been renamed to Flair Airlines.
The change comes just over month after Kelowna based Flair Airlines bought all of NewLeaf's assets.
“In order to present a unified company model to both the consumer and market place, Flair Airlines was the name that was best suited to do that,” says spokesperson Julie Rempel “so we decided to take it onto the next platform and call ourselves Flair Airlines”
The change was announced today, exactly a year after NewLeaf launched. Rempel says in that time they've flown 320,000 passengers and completed more than 2600 flights.
Flair Airlines says it will be expanding its route network over the coming weeks however Rempel could not confirm if Kelowna, which is currently not serviced by the airline, would be added.
