With the federal election coming up this October, the campaign for your votes is already beginning to heat up.
The MP for Kelowna Lake Country is Liberal Stephen Fuhr. This time, he'll face a new Conservative Party challenger. The nomination process for the Tories opened over the weekend.
We know there'll be two candidates for sure. Troika Developments CEO Renee Wasylyk and former Kelowna City Councillor Tracy Gray.
Both have been working hard to secure supporters for a nomination vote in either the last week of March or the first week of April.
Only members of the Conservative Party are eligible to cast ballots. Both Wasylyk and Gray are signing up new members and renewing expired memberships in their campaigns to win. Both have had numerous meet and greets with party faithful as they build toward the nomination vote.
