Three convocation ceremonies are planned at Okanagan College's Kelowna campus this weekend.
The achievements of more than 920 students from trades and apprenticeship programs from across the college's four campuses will be recognized Friday.
The following day, the first of two convocation ceremonies will be given to students in a variety of programs including arts, computer science, early childhood education, engineering technologies, practical nursing, and science.
The college's Christine Ulmer says it's an exciting time of the year.
"For our graduates, for our faculty, for all of their families and supporters, we are recognizing the achievements of more than 13 hundred students over the course of just two days. There is an incredible amount of energy and excitement and we are really, really proud of everyone."
Former Kelowna mayor Sharon Shepherd will be named Honorary Fellow and address the graduating class.
Later this month, the college will host three additional ceremonies including one at Vernon campus and two summer convocations at Kelowna campus.
