Last week, Central Okanagan Emergency officials predicted Okanagan Lake could rise another 10 to 15-centimetres depending on the snowmelt and weather conditions - today, Environment Canada is forecasting rain and snowmelt has Mission Creek raging.
In the last 24 hours - Okanagan Lake rose another two centimetres to sit at 343.10 metres - while Mission Creek is running at about 65-cubic-metres per second - the normal rate for for this time of year is 40 to 45.
Officials have issued the usual recommendations - flood-proof your properties, build-up protections already in place, and avoid boating on the lake because of floating debris - and the risk of eroding the shoreline with boat wakes.
An Evacuation Order has been issued for Tween Lakes Resort on Oyama Road with the exception of the Park Managers residence.
Evacuation alerts have also been issued for 18 properties near Wood Lake.
Residents in these affected areas should be prepared to leave their homes on short notice should conditions along the waterfront change.
