The Okanagan Pet Expo, set to debut in Kelowna this year on June 6th and 7th at the Kelowna Curling Club, was an opportunity for pet lovers to come and experience the world of pets.
With exhibitors, demos, speakers and activities, this was to be an event for people to celebrate their beloved pets.
In light of the CoVid situation, and the need to practice social distancing, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Okanagan Pet Expo that was to be held in Kelowna, BC on June 6th and 7th.
The health, safety and well-being of employees, exhibitors and guests remain the top priority and they are following the lead of both the BC and Canadian Public Health Authorities at this important time.
“We were looking forward to bringing the Okanagan Pet Expo to Kelowna, which is a huge pet loving community!”, said Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown, Event Producer. “Once things settle down, and we have a better idea on what the future holds, we will look at rescheduling the event date. In the meantime, please continue to see how you can support your local pet charities during this time.”
The Okanagan Pet Expo will be postponed to a later date, once a decision can be made on the future of events in Kelowna.
