Okanagan creeks and streams are beginning to rise because of recent warm temperatures and spring rain - but at this time there are no warnings about flooding.
In recent weeks, there has been some isolated flooding - but the Environment Ministry and Central Okanagan Regional District say there are no specific areas of concern right now.
If needed the BC River Forecast Centre will issue advisories, watches and warnings.
The Regional District is reminding property owners near creeks, streams and on the lakefront that it's important to have a plan, as well as the tools and equipment necessary to protect your property from possible flood damage.
Stockpiles of sandbags are available at local fire halls.
