Shortly after 7 PM Monday night, Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a rollover collision at the intersection of Harvey and Ellis.
The incident involved a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, as well as a red Honda Fit.
"According to witnesses at the scene, police believe that the driver of the Toyota Tacoma may have failed to stop for red light at the intersection when the crash occured," says Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey.
After colliding with the Honda, the Tacoma was sent spinning out of the intersection before landing on its side, while the Honda sustained moderate damage.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 36-year-old Kelowna man, as well as a female passenger, were evaluated at the scene, and were not found to have suffered any significant injuries.
The female driver of the Honda was sent to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Tacoma pickup truck has been fined under the motor vehicle act.
