As the snow starts to melt away and gardening season approaches, many residents in Kelowna may be worried about the presence of pesticides on or near their properties.
Fortunately, you can now sign up to receive information for when and where pesticides will be administered in the City.
The Pesticide Notification Registry starts Friday, February 9th, and registration continues until March 12th.
This allows residents to get a heads up for when pesticides are being sprayed by certified applicators near their residences.
The City of Kelowna has worked to reduce pesticide use in Kelowna, although certified applicators are permitted by law to apply chemical pesticides.
