The highways surrounding the Okanagan are going to get another large helping of snowfall.
A snowfall warning has been issued for the Coquihalla and the Connector, with 30 to 50 centimeters expected over the next few days.
This snowfall is being caused by a strong Pacific frontal system that is making its way from the coast to the Okanagan.
Kelowna itself won't get as bad of a snowfall, with 2 to 5 centimeters expected in the next 24 hours. Depending on how the winds pick up, we could see a mix of snow and rain over the next few days.
Drivers are encouraged to monitor highway conditions over the week, and to reschedule travel plans if possible until driving conditions improve.
